My teaching career has primarily been as a Language Arts teacher. These experiences, combined with teaching social studies and public speaking, have highlighted the importance of proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.

I have been fortunate in my career to have served in multiple leadership capacities, both within my division and schoolwide. Some of my strengths in this area lie in collaboration and communication.

Teaching has allowed me to flex creative muscles, both in how I conduct my class and how I incorporate the arts into my practice. Whether a gamified unit or theatrical presentation, I consistently look for  ways to foster creativity in the classroom.
